OUR FIRST BOOK [Club] [Lab] is Sunday

This month’s BOOK CLUB choice is an ancient Mexican philosophy of life, where they believe only four things for true happiness. Much of the content, although mystical in nature, relates to the scientific principles of positive psychology. One of my clients recently said of this book, “Louis, the words on this page look really weird — but they make sense all together.” He then went on to buy the book for 100 of his employees.

I think you’ll find it a good (and easy) read. It’s short. The font is big. And it’ll make for a nice kick-off discussion to our SOMO Book Club which will meet for the first time on Sunday, February 26

from 4-5:30 pm

in my new living room (2800 Circle Court, Ohio City - front of house is 1722 w. 28th Street and that address may be easier to put in your GPS – park on 28th Street. My cell is 917-331-0785 if you have questions.).

Look here for where you can buy the book locally. Or google to read what the book is about if you’re not going to have a chance to read it before our lab.

Bring a small something (snack) to share!

Hope to see you (t)here!

Louis

  1. This is the first time visiting the website, it was very exciting to see the 4 agreements as the book of the month. Having been through the book many times, it is a totally fascinating journey into yourself. The book is a masterpiece of personal freedom. Properly understood and applied to your life, you will start to feel the freedom of the child you once were. Not in a naive way of a child, because of the hell of the outside world that everyone knows is still out there. As a child we knew nothing of the hell that awaited us. This book and other masterpieces by Ruiz, The voice of Knowlege, The mastery of Love, and The 5th agreement all can help a person regain the magical feeling of being a child once again. The beauty of it all is the simplicity of its message. Something every person can directly relate to.

  2. I plan on attending, but am new to this group and could not find where to rsvp. Will this do?

I discovered this group in an article in a newspaper I was about to use to start a fire in my wood stove. I am glad I had a sharp eye that day!

  3. So sorry I missed this opportunity to discuss one of my favorite books/philosophies. Will you be continueing the conversation, or perhaps reading the next book in Don Miguel’s series?

  5. Wish I could be there! It sounds like a great book and I’m going to get a copy to read. If you have Book Club on another night, I’ll be there – and I have a couple of book suggestions, too :)

  7. This is the book that changed my life! Since I have read it I have been able to start making my dreams into a reality, and also been able to manifest my personal strength.

I hope that all who attended the book club learned and loved it!

  8. I had hoped to attend the book club lab, but unfortunatley was not able to make it. However, it did get me to take this book off my bookshelf and begin to read it again. It is the perfect time for me to do so — what profound messages and inspiring words.

I am interested in attending future book club labs. Do you have a schedule for future labs?
