I truly believe that in most cases, adapting is a decision. We tell ourselves that we can, will problem solve or be flexible. The best time to do that is way before a change or problem arises. Expecting change, difficulty or speed bumps (not negatively, but realistically) just in case they happen and help us become ready for our boat to rock a little. It’s a great way to practice making Plan B’s. Soon, adapting will become second nature.
