(All logistical information here.)
Join us on January 22 for an SOMO Intro Lab from 6-7:30 pm in which you’ll experience a snippet of positive psychology, the science of success, well-being, and happiness along with an evolutionary account for why it’s important we learn to think differently at this point in human history + a call-to-action to be a change-agent in your social- and professional-networks (i.e. your life!).
and then stay on, if you’d like . . .
for a SOMO Mojo Lab from 7:45-9:15 pm in which we’ll present a new nugget of applied, scientific research on well-being, success, and happiness.
The topic for this month’s MOJO lab is Abundant Community Awakening The Power of Families and Neighborhoods based on a book and an invitation by John McKnight and Peter Block. Our greatest strength as a people comes from the gifts and passions of caring, aware communities and neighborhoods. The invitation is to recognize and engage our own and each other’s strengths and talents. By developing relationships with those around us, we step into the powerful place of citizen and out of the slumber and trap of simply being consumers. Get a taste of the Abundant Community by exploring the core concepts and sharing your own gifts and strengths in this fun and interactive learning lab!
Join us for a mental workout (or two!). And bring a friend. All logistical information here.
